Appointed by the City Council, the City Manager is responsible for the administration of City services and programs, enforcement of the City's Municipal Code and ordinances, and preparation of the annual budget. The City Manager appoints department directors to assist him in carrying out his duties. The City Manager also oversees several divisions and major programs within the City Manager's Office itself.
