Summer Fun Camps and Echo Lake Youth Camp
Berkeley, California (Monday, June 05, 2006) - Are you a parent looking for a fun, supervised environment to support your child’s activities this summer? The City of Berkeley’s Parks Recreation & Waterfront Department still has spots available for Summer Fun Camp and Echo Lake Youth Camp.
Summer Fun Camps for Kids & Teens
Fun Camps are offered to kids and teens and include a variety of activities, depending on the Center. A literacy program operates along with organized sports and games, field trips, arts and crafts, swimming & tennis lessons. The Program extends June 19-August 11, Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-3:00PM. Fee is $85 per week and includes lunch and snack. Extended morning and afternoon sessions are available at an additional cost. Call 981-546 for details and locations.
Echo Lake Youth Camp
Echo Lake Youth Camp, near South Lake Tahoe, operates between July 10-August 25 in one week sessions. Fishing, hiking, swimming, dance, drama, crafts, campfires and canoeing are included. Sessions are still open but filling up fast. Cost is $425 per session. Call (510) 981-5150.
