IDENTIFICATION NEEDED - SHATTUCK AVENUE ASSAULT
Victim sustains serious head injuries
Berkeley, California (Thursday, November 16, 2006) - On October 23, 2006, the suspect shown above entered the J & L Laundry on the 2500 block of Shattuck Avenue at about 3:00 p.m. A lone female employee was working the front counter area, when the suspect jumped over the counter and started assaulting her as she yelled for help. Luckily for our victim, a patron walked into the business during the assault and helped foil the robbery. The suspect fled southbound on Shattuck Avenue on a red bicycle after the attack.
· Black Male Adult
· 19-22 years old
· 5’-11” – 6’ tall
· 250 pounds
· Green & white striped shirt, dark jeans
· Silver colored upper and lower front teeth
