CITY OF BERKELEY SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM
Free Meals for Berkeley Kids

Berkeley, California (Monday, July 16, 2007) - Children who are 18 years old or younger are invited to eat free in Berkeley.

The City of Berkeley,  in collaboration with the State of California Department of Education, will offer free summer lunches and snacks to all Berkeley students. The Summer Lunch Program operates Monday through Friday from June 18th to August 10th. Lunch is served from  11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and snacks are available from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.:    

Frances Albrier Recreation Center, 2800 Park Street

MLK Youth Services Center, 1730 Oregon Street

James Kenney Recreation Center, 1720 8th Street

Strawberry Creek Park, 1255 Allston Way

Black Repertory Theater, 3201 Adeline St.

Longfellow School, 1500 Derby Street

Washington School, 2300 Martin Luther King Jr. Way

Rosa Parks School, 920 Allston Way

B-Tech / Berkeley Alternative H.S., 2701 Martin Luther King Jr. Way
