Spring Egg Hunt Extravaganza And More!
Berkeley, California (Monday, March 10, 2008) - Are you looking for fun things for your kids to do during the spring break? Treat your kids to one of any of the following Spring Break Programs!
Spring Egg Hunt Extravaganza at Willard Park, March 22, 10 a.m.-1:00 p.m.: We will feature an egg hunt for 1-7 year olds and a treasure hunt for 8-10 year olds. There will also be a petting zoo, visit with the spring bunny, arts and crafts, and a carnival. Participants will receive a basket of goodies too! Call 981-5157 for more information. Cost: $5.00
Underwater Egg Hunt at King Pool, March 22, 12:00-2:00 p.m.: Children who retrieve eggs get tickets for prizes of candy and stuffed animals. Children, ages 3-12, will be divided up into appropriate age groups in the pool. Call 644-8518 for more information. Cost: $3.00
Spring Break Camp at James Kenney Community Center, Monday-Friday, March 31-April 4, 9:00-a.m.-3:00 p.m.: Children, ages 5-12, enjoy a structured program featuring sports, games, arts and crafts, field trips and nature hikes. Cost: $86/wk. Extended Care for morning and afternoon available for an additional fee. Call 981-6650 for more information.
Spring Skateboard Camp, March 31-April 4, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Five days of skating, learning and making friends Open to all levels of skaters from beginning to advanced. Cost: $180. Call 526-5415 for more information.
Citywide Snow Trip to Soda Springs, April 3: Youth, 8-12 years old, can enjoy a snow day experience with snowball fights, tube racing and more. Snowboarding and skiing lessons are available. Transportation will be provided. Up to 11 parents are welcome to come. Cost: $15 (for transportation and tubing). Call 981-5147 for more information.
