A EXHIBITION OF NON-JURIED WORKS BY THE POTTERS' STUDIO STUDENTS, STAFF, MEMBERS, GALLERY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS OF THE POTTERS' STUDIO
Berkeley, California (Friday, November 14, 2008) - The Potters’ Studio is pleased to work with the Addison Street Windows Gallery to present a non-juried collection of works by students, staff, members, gallery members and friends of the studio.
Addison Street Windows Gallery is located at 2018 Addison St. in Berkeley and the exhibit will run from November 12 through November 31, 2008.
This exhibition is curated by Susan Troy and Maru Hoeber; it represents the range of creative work that is being done at the Potters’ Studio. Susan is a teacher and potter who has been both a student and member of the Potters' Studio and now works out of her home studio in Oakland. Maru is a sculptor who works in various media and does her clay work at the Potters' Studio; as a former Community college instructor she finds the mix of students and professionals exciting.
24 artists are represented in this display. They are Michael Berkley, Penny Brogden, Tina Cheung, Toni Clark, Elizabeth Cornel, Lynne Geries, Daniel Goodman, Daniel Goodman, Maru Hoeber, Ralph Holker, Bob Johnson, Tsoi Katzen, Harriet Love, David Murai, Janet Perlman, Jean Pfann, Barbara Sebastian, Cristina Siegerist, Brenda Soi, Elizabeth Starr, John Steinberg, Michiyo Suzuki, Susan Troy, Maija Williams.
