BERKELEY ECHO LAKE YOUTH CAMP REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
Echo Lake is for youth ages 8-13
Berkeley, California (Monday, March 30, 2009) - Berkeley Echo Lake Camp runs along a 7400 ft. Sierra ridge, and overlooks the stunning Tahoe Basin. Camp is located just 15 minutes from South Lake Tahoe. Three hot meals are served each day, along with nutritious snacks. Campers sleep in rustic tent cabins, but spend their days outside enjoying the swimming pool, the Recreation Lodge, the Dining Hall and, of course, Echo Lake.
Berkeley Echo Lake Youth Camp is held in one-week sessions, Monday - Friday, throughout July and August. Campers enjoy an action-packed schedule filled with educational activities, lake trips, arts and crafts, hiking, swimming and special evening activities, and are supervised by counselors at all times. Transportation to and from camp is provided; pick up is at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, returning Friday by 5:00 p.m., in front of the Berkeley Unified School District (2100 Martin Luther King Jr. Way).
Fees: Berkeley Residents = $457, non-residents = $462
