2009 SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM

Berkeley, California (Friday, April 17, 2009) - Children who are 18 years old or younger are invited to eat free in Berkeley. The City of Berkeley, in collaboration with the State of California Department of Education, will offer free summer lunches and snacks to all Berkeley students. The Summer Lunch Program operates every weekday from June 15 to August 14.

Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and snacks are available from 2:30 p.m. to 400 p.m.

James Kenney Recreation Center, 1720 8th Street
