ROBBERY SUSPECT CAUGHT ON FILM

Berkeley, California (Friday, March 12, 2010) - The City of Berkeley Police Department (BPD) is asking for the community’s help in identifying the above pictured   suspect (pictured on the left) who is responsible for a commercial robbery. The robbery occurred at the Andronico’s Market located at 2655 Telegraph Ave.

On Sunday, March 7, 2010, at approximately 10:00 p.m., an unidentified suspect entered Androncio’s Market, approached an employee, brandished a handgun and demanded cash.  After the robbery, the suspect was last seen running westbound on Carleton St from Telegraph Ave.

The suspect was described as follows:

Black male adult mid 20’s
5-08 160lbs, thin build,
Wearing a black beanie cap, dark blue pea coat
