BERKELEY ECHO LAKE FAMILY CAMP REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
Great low cost family vacation opportunity in South Lake Tahoe!
Berkeley, California (Thursday, February 10, 2011) - Berkeley Echo Lake Family Camp is a terrific, low cost vacation opportunity for the whole family to enjoy! This all ages program is an opportunity for people who want to experience a fun outdoor adventure in a beautiful setting and not have to worry about preparing meals or setting up tents.
Echo Lake Camp is approximately a three hour drive from Berkeley. Camp is minutes away from Echo Lake and Desolation Wilderness, and a 15-minute drive from the town of South Lake Tahoe. Echo Lake Camp features 18 acres of a Red Fir Forest, hiking trails, rocky cliffs and expansive views of the Tahoe Basin. Families can enjoy hiking, swimming, fishing, campfires or just relaxing in the lodge with a good book. Campers stay in rustic wood-framed tent cabins and enjoy three wholesome meals each day. Snacks and a beverage bar are available to all campers throughout the day. You can also request a bag lunch in the morning so you can take the whole family out on a day hike.
Berkeley Echo Lake Family Camp runs from July 1 - 10, July 15 - 17, July 22 - 24, July 29 - 31 and August 5 - 7. Check in starts at 4:00pm on Friday, and campers must check out by 4:00pm on Sundays.
