SAN PABLO PARK BASKETBALL COURTS RENOVATION
Berkeley, California (Thursday, March 01, 2012) - The Berkeley community is invited to celebrate the beginning of the San Pablo Park Basketball Courts Renovation Project. The renovation, funded by Measure WW, will allow for new paving, drainage and re-surfacing; new basketball poles, rims, nets and backboards; new energy-efficient lighting; new fencing; and new benches.

WHEN: Wednesday, March 7, 2012, from 12 – 1 p.m.
WHERE: San Pablo Park, 2800 Park Street, Berkeley
Project funding is provided by a grant from the Measure WW bond measure, approved by Alameda and Contra Costa County voters in November, 2008, and a grant from the Community Development Block Grant program.
The basketball courts were dedicated to Mr. William “Bill” Rose in 1990. A new sign will be installed to commemorate the dedication.
