PRESIDENT'S DAY STREET SWEEPING: PLEASE MOVE YOUR CAR
Clean streets help keep storm drains clear, prevent flooding, improve traffic and give pedestrians clear paths to walk.

Berkeley, California (Friday, February 14, 2014) - Street sweeping will still occur on President's Day, so please move your car and help keep storm drains clear as Winter rains approach.

Though Public Works is asking residents in these areas to voluntarily park their vehicles off-street or elsewhere on February 17th, vehicles parked in these areas will not be ticketed.

Street sweepers help keep storm drains clear of leaves and debris, which helps prevent flooding, improves traffic and gives pedestrians clear paths to walk.

If you have any questions about street sweeping times and hours, please call 311. To see which areas have street sweeping on the third Monday, view the maps below.
