The Children, Youth & Recreation, Housing Advisory, Homeless, and Human Welfare and Community Action Commissions are holding a public hearing on community needs on:

Thursday, November 13
7 p.m.
South Berkeley Senior Center
2939 Ellis Street

The purpose of this Public Hearing is to hear from Berkeley residents what services and housing are needed for low-income people in their community. The information from this Public Hearing will be used to help the Housing Advisory, Homeless, Human Welfare and Community Action, and the Children, Youth & Recreation Commissions prioritize the types of services and housing needed to meet community needs. The information will also be included in the Community Action Plan for the City of Berkeley Community Action Agency and the Annual Action Plan for funding from the federal department of Housing and Urban Development.
