The Commissioners' Manual is an invaluable resource for the citizens that are appointed the serve on the city's advisory boards and commissions. The Manual covers eligibility, meeting procedures, conflict of interest, making recommendations, parliamentary procedure and many other essential topics.
The Commissioners' Manual is adopted by resolution by the City Council as the official policies and procedures governing eligibility, service, and conduct on city boards and commissions. The City Council adopted the most recent edition of the Manual on January 17, 2012 pursuant to Resolution No. 65,570-N.S.
Each Commissioner is provided with a Manual at the time of his or her appointment. The Manual is also available here on the City Clerk's web site for reference.
