King School Park is owned by the Berkeley Unified School District (BUSD) and maintained by the City of Berkeley. By a joint-use agreement between the City of Berkeley and the Berkeley Unified School District (BUSD), King School offers public access to its play areas, tennis courts, running track, gym, and basketball courts when school is not in session and daytime access to its tot play area.

School-age disabled accessible play area featuring large swings, 12' high cable-net climber.

Adjacent school facilities include basketball courts, tennis courts (5), and running track, available to the public when school is not in session

History
King School Park was built with Measure Y funds after voters passed a bond measure in 1974 to fund additional park development to meet the recreational needs of Berkeley’s citizens. It was opened to the public in 1979.
