SHIFT is a peer education group composed of 13 Berkeley High School students who are trained on reproductive health topics such as anatomy, STIs, HIV, and birth control options. They conduct health workshops for Berkeley High School students of all grade levels. SHIFT also writes a column in the school newspaper, "The Jacket", addressing sexual health questions students are able to submit to the SHIFT locker on campus anonymously.
Tobacco Prevention Intern Group is a peer education group whose goal is to educate youth about smoking and secondhand smoke exposure, and the negative consequences of tobacco use.
