Item 1.             Roll Call was at 7:05

Item 2.             Approval of the Agenda.  APPROVED AS WRITTEN.  M/S/C (Harris/Siegel) Passed. 9-0-0-0.

 Item 4.            Approval of the Minutes.    APPROVED AS WRITTEN.  M/S/C (Janowitz/Harris) Passed. 9-0-0-0. 

 Item 6. a.         Recommendation to run a monthly quarter page advertisement in the Daily Californian, with the content of these advertisements to reflect: (1) timely rent issues being faced by students, (2) new policies or services affecting tenancies, and (3) scheduled Rent Stabilization Board events.  (Student Outreach Committee)  TO ADOPT RECOMMENDATION WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT AN ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE PLACED IN THE DAILY CALIFORNIAN, OR ANOTHER LOCAL NEWSPAPER, AT A MINIMUM OF FOUR TIMES DURING THE NEXT SIX MONTHS AND THAT THE STUDENT OUTREACH AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION OUTREACH COMMITTEES WILL BE CONSULTED REGARDING THE TIMING AND THE SUBSTANCE.   M/S/C (Maldonado/Spector) A roll call vote was taken.  Yes: Maldonado, Janowitz, Anderson, Bernay, Spector, Harris, Siegel, Hogarth, Alberti; No: None; Abstain: None; Absent: None.  Passed: 9-0-0-0.

Item 5.             Appeal in T-3802/3803/3804 – 2455 Prospect Street, #231, #237 and #303.  M/S/C (Alberti/Maldonado) TO AFFIRM THE DECISION OF THE HEARING EXAMINER.  A roll call vote was taken.  Yes: Maldonado, Janowitz, Anderson, Bernay, Spector, Harris, Siegel, Hogarth, Alberti; No. None; Abstain: None; Absent: None.  Passed 9-0-0-0.

Item 6. b.         Proposal to approve staff recommendations on the following requests for waiver of late registration penalties:  Waiver numbers: 2488, 2489, 2490, 2491, 2492, 2493, 2494, 2495, 24,96, 2497, 2499, 2500, 2502, 2505, 2506, 2508, 2510, 2511, 2513, 2514, 2515, 2516, 2517, 2518, 2519, 2521, 2523, 2525, 2526, 2538, 2539, 2540, 2544, 2545, 2548, 2573, 2605.   M/S/C (Harris/Alberti) TO APPROVE STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS.  A roll call vote was taken.  Yes: Maldonado, Janowitz, Anderson, Bernay, Spector, Harris, Siegel, Hogarth, Alberti; No: None; Abstain: None; Absent: None.  Passed 9-0-0-0.
