South Berkeley Shooting Victim Marks City’s 7th Homicide
Berkeley, California (Thursday, May 29, 2008) – At 11:32 PM on May 28, 2008, City of Berkeley Police Officers responded to multiple reports of numerous shots fired in the area of Tyler and California Streets in South Berkeley. Upon their arrival, they found the 29 year old, African-American male victim with apparent gunshot wounds lying on the sidewalk.
The Berkeley Fire Department transported the victim to Alameda County Hospital, where he subsequently died of his injuries.
