6. Appeal Time Certain – 7:15 p.m.

a.  Appeal IRD-11 – 1500 Cedar St. #B.   This is an appeal of a hearing examiner’s decision that found that the subject rental unit was not the tenant’s primary residence and, therefore, the Rent Ordinance did not limit the rent increases that could be taken on the unit.  There is no dispute that the subject unit is not the tenant’s primary residence.  For this reason, staff recommends that the decision of the hearing examiner be affirmed.
