SEARCH WARRANT EXECUTED FOR EMERSON ST. HOMICIDE
Berkeley, California (Tuesday, October 07, 2008) - The Berkeley Police Homicide Detail executed a search warrant at 10:20AM on the 2200 block of E. 33rd St. in Oakland. During the course of the warrant, Deontae Faison, 20 of Berkeley, was arrested for his role as an accessory to the June 20, 2008 murder of his father Charles Faison 39, of Berkeley. Deontae Faison was transported and booked into the Alameda County Jail.
At approximately 5:00PM, a 15 - year old Berkeley resident, also a target of the investigation surrendered himself to the Berkeley Police Department. He has been charged with the murder of Charles Faison and was booked into Juvenile Hall.
