BERKELEY'S BLACK HISTORY CELEBRATION
Honoring Our Community Legends

Berkeley, California (Tuesday, February 14, 2006) - The City of Berkeley's Young Adult Project and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Advisory Board invites the community to a Black History Celebration, "Honoring Our Community Legends," on Saturday, February 25, 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., at the South Berkeley Senior Center, 2939 Ellis Street, Berkeley, CA.

There will be an Intergenerational Fashion Show and Community Service Awards, along with cartoonist Morrie Turner, vocalist Elizabeth Hunter, vocalist Misa Malone, Ben Oni Orchestra, Gracie Lutheran Youth Orchestra, Kameelah Hill Praise Dancers and Sharron for spoken words.The event is free to the community.
