NEW HOURS FOR BERKELEY'S FINANCE CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER
No Change for Telephone Transactions

Berkeley, California (Friday, November 04, 2005) - The City’s Finance Customer Service Center is changing its hours open to the public on Monday December 5. Effective with that date, the new hours will be Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM for in person counter transactions. Hours for phone transactions will remain unchanged, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.  The Finance Customer Service Center is located at 1947 Center between Milvia and Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

Finance Customer Service Center processes customer payments for various City bills, administering programs such as business licenses, animal licensing, taxi scrip reimbursement, and taxi and vendor licensing; and provides general information to customer inquires.  The Service Center also processes all parking citations, appeals and requests for parking permits. Parking citations can be paid on line at www.cityofberkeley.info/onlineservice.
