The Communicable Disease Control Program works in partnership with the medical and neighborhood communities to control and prevent the occurrence and spread of communicable diseases through prevention, surveillance and outbreak control.



For "after hours" communicable disease reporting, please call City of Berkeley Dispatch at (510) 981-5911 and request that they contact the Health Officer on call.
