Campaign Information: BERA: Mass Mailing Form
The Berkeley Election Reform Act has specific requirements with regards to Mass Mailings. If your campaign communication meets the definition of a Mass Mailing in BMC Section 2.12.150, you must file a certification form and three copies of the mailing with the City Clerk.

2.12.150 Mass mailing.
"Mass mailing" means two hundred or more identical or nearly identical pieces of mail, but does not include a form letter or other mail which is sent in response to a request, letter or other inquiry. (Ord. 4700-NS § 216, 1974)
In addition, the State has regulation regarding disclosures on political advertising.
