MONEY FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY (ME2) PUBLIC WORKSHOP
Attend one of our June workshops to learn how you can qualify

Berkeley, California (Monday, June 07, 2010) - Cash incentives for energy efficiency audits and improvements will be available for Berkeley homes and businesses at a variety of income levels as of July 6th, 2010. The Money for Energy Efficiency (ME2) Program is a federally funded program designed to lower the cost of energy efficiency improvements; improve building comfort, safety, and durability; and reduce Berkeley's carbon footprint.

The ME2 for Berkeley cash incentives will be provided through federal stimulus funds awarded to Berkeley from the U.S. Department of Energy. ME2 for Berkeley is an important part of Berkeley's efforts to reduce greenhouse gases by 33 percent over the next 10 years and 80 percent by 2050 while creating green jobs in our community.
