Berkeley, California (Wednesday, November 21, 2012) - Berkeley, California (November 21, 2012) – The City of Berkeley Police Department (BPD) is seeking the help of the community to catch a burglar. 

BPD Detectives are actively investigating a series of commercial burglaries that have occurred in the past month.  The depicted suspect is believed to be the responsible for two burglaries and an attempted burglary in Berkeley, along with additional burglaries in neighboring cities. 

The suspect will enter a business by smashing the window.  He then enters the business, taking cigarettes.  The suspect is in and out of the store in a very short amount of time. 

  The following is a description of the suspect – 

African American Adult, 25-35 years old, pierced ears wearing an olive green baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
