Councilmember Jesse Arreguin's office is looking for energetic interns to help research and write public policy, engage in community outreach and provide constituent services.

The District 4 office relies heavily on the work of dedicated interns and volunteers. Interning in local government can be a valuable and rewarding experience, not only to gain important research, writing, and communication skills but also to help improve people's lives and directly see the impact of your work. 

Our interns, working directly with Councilmember Arreguin, not only work on long term research projects, but also help research and write City Council items, organize community meetings and events, help in outreaching to residents. Here are a few of the issues our interns have worked on in years past:
