BPD SEEKING HELP TO CATCH A ROBBER
Berkeley, California (Wednesday, April 03, 2013) - Berkeley, California (April 3, 2013) - The City of Berkeley Police Department (BPD) is seeking the communities' help to identify an armed robber.
BPD Detectives are actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred near the intersection of Milvia and Stuart Streets on March 13, 2013. The depicted individual is believed to be the suspect.
The victim was confronted by the suspect, who demanded his property. During the incident, the victim was struck several times with the gun causing non-life threatening injuries. The suspect fled the area and was last seen getting onto an AC Transit bus after the incident.
The following is a description of the suspect -
African American Adult Male, 20s, 5'10"-6', medium build wearing black or dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, black beanie, armed with a gun.
