The Family Planning Program offers direct services; education and counseling; and resource information pertaining to family planning and birth control.

SERVICES
(All services are confidential) 

  • Pap smears / Well-woman visitsguy_and_girl
  • Male reproductive health visits / Well-male visits
  • Breast and pelvic exams
  • Pregnancy testing and counseling
  • Preconception & reproductive life planning
  • Testing, diagnosis, treatment & prevention of sexually transmitted infections/diseases
    (Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphillis, Genital Warts, and Herpes)
  • Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccines
  • HPV vaccine for males and females ages 19 - 26 (for those who qualify)
  • Emergency birth control
    (should be taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy)
  • Prescription & dispensing of various birth control methods:
    • Birth Control Pills
    • Condoms
    • Diaphragms
    • Injections (Depo Provera)
    • Implants
    • IUD (Intrauterine devices): Paraguard and Mirena IUDs available
    • Patches
    • Vaginal Rings

Call for an appointment during general hours of operation to make an appointment for services. Hours for specific services listed below may be different than Public Health Clinic general hours of operation.

  1:00 - 3:00 pm (Drop-in for PM hours only.  First come, first served.  Limited spaces.) 
Tuesday  8:00 - 11:00 am
  1:00 - 3:30 pm   
Thursday  10:00 - 12:00 noon 
  2:00 - 5:00 pm
Saturday 11:30 am - 2:30 pm (Select dates only. See general hours of operation.)

Birth Control Refills and Depo Shots
(For established patients; by appointment only)    

Thursday     5:30 - 6:00 pm
Saturday 11:00 am - 2:30 pm (Select dates only. See general hours of operation.)
   

Rapid HIV Testing
(Drop-in. No appointment necessary. Limited spaces available.) 

PLEASE NOTE: Rapid HIV testing & results services will NOT be available on Thursday, October 2, 2014. Services will be available on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. We apologize for any inconvenience.
