Ready to quit smoking? We can help! If you are a smoker and are ready to take action for a tobacco free life, please join us for our FREE quit smoking session series! Resources are available to help you quit tobacco use and enjoy a healthier lifestyle.

The Tobacco Prevention Program offers FREE quit smoking classes to community members. (Flyer)

Classes include:

• Small group settingquit smoking
• Fun, interactive learning environment
• Participant workbook and other informative materials provided
  

Topics include:

• Medicines that can help you stop smoking
• Lifestyle changes that make quitting easier
• Preparing for Quit Day
• Managing stress
• Avoiding weight gain
• Developing a new self-image
• Staying smoke-free for good.  

Quit Smoking Class Schedule

Saturdays   (8 sessions)
Dates: 5/10/14 - 6/21/14
  (May 10, 17, 24, 31, and June 2, 7, 14, 21)
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Tuesdays   (8 sessions)   
Dates: 5/13/14 - 6/24/14
  (May 13, 20, 27, and June 3, 5, 10, 17, 24)
Time:        12:00 - 2:00 PM

 

Location: Available upon registration 

Cost:  All Classes are FREE!
