Permit Fee Estimator
To receive an online estimate of your building permit fees,
please complete all of the following fields and click 'Calculate'.
The fee calculator may be used to estimate the construction fees based on the
project valuation. The total fee calculated is for Building permits only and does not
include Plumbing, Mechanical or Electrical permit fees. Depending on the scope of your
project, applicability of other specific fees will be determined by the appropriate
agencies upon review of the project. The fees calculated are an approximation of the
actual fees based on the current fee ordinance, and may be subject to change.
To get an estimate of your building permit fees from the PSC and not on-line, please
email the Planning mailbox planning@cityofberkeley.info.
You will need to provide the property address, the valuation of the project and the scope of work.
You should receive an estimate within 72 hours.
