Budget Documents: Current Reports and Adopted Budgets
The City's budget is a reflection of our policies, goals and priorities -- each of which are set by the City Council. The budget can also be understood through the City's work plan, which includes a full breakdown of services and staff.
Budgets are adopted on a two-year cycle, with the FY 2016-17 Proposed Biennial Budget and the FY 2016-2017 Proposed Capital Improvement Program up for City Council approval on June 30, 2015. See the Budget Calendar for key dates and meetings. The most recently adopted budget is the Budget for Fiscal Years 2014 and 2015 and the Capital Improvement Program Budget for FY 2014 and 2015. Each of those budgets was adopted on June 25, 2013. Subsequently, on June 24, 2014, the City Council also approved a FY 2015 Mid-Biennial Budget Update that made some revisions to the two-year budget.
