2.   CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – ANTICIPATED LITIGATION 
Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to subdivision (b) of Government Code section 54956.9:

 

One case: The Peralta Community College District has threatened to file an eminent domain action against the City of Berkeley to take its leasehold interest in the building at 2016-2020 Center Street and obtain an order to take immediate possession.

 

ADJOURNMENT:  (The Council may adjourn this meeting and reconvene into Open Session to make a report, if any such report is required by law.)
