3.     CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – ANTICIPATED LITIGATION PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(b):

     

The City Council will confer with the City Attorney regarding possible litigation resulting from a claim submitted by Arntz Builder's for costs above the contract dollar ceiling for the renovation project at the Berkeley Public Library

4.      REPORT FROM CLOSED SESSION:

 

Moved, seconded, carried (Maio/Worthington; Absent – Breland) to authorize the City Attorney to join in an appeal of the Court’s order granting summary judgment to firearms manufacturers and firearms trade associations in the case of People v. Arcadia Machine and Tool Company, et al., Action NO. JCCP 4095, pending in San Diego County Superior Court.
