1. Roll Call: 5:03 p.m. All present.
2. Parking Citation Increases (PDF, 809 KB) (to be delivered)

Recommendation: Adopt a Resolution 1) increasing all parking citations except disabled and bus zones effective July 1, 2003 by up to 50% depending on the specific violation; 2) readopting fines for parking violations and late payment penalties; and 3) rescinding Resolution No. 61,789-N.S.

Recommendation: Adopt first reading of an Ordinance setting the FY 2004 tax rate per square foot for residential dwelling units and for industrial, commercial and institutional buildings.

Action: Moved, seconded, carried (Worthington/Hawley) to adopt first reading of Ordinance providing for a 13.9% increase in the tax rate and directing the City Manager and the Library Board of Trustees to work together to address operational and funding needs identified by the Library Board with a report back by October with recommendations on funding the school library program and the technology proposal. Second reading scheduled for July 8, 2003.
