Recommendation: That the City Council hear
from the community panel on its reactions to the current (24th) draft of the
Sunshine Ordinance, pose any questions to the panel and staff, hear from the
public and then provide guidance on possible changes and next steps towards
final adoption of the ordinance.

Recommendation: That Council thank the
Police Chief for improving public access to police reports to the public and
request the City Manager provide a plan to give public access to Berkeley's Police Department information,
including police reports compliant with state law.
