Council
noted that a public hearing regarding CDBG/Community Agency Grants
is scheduled for April 24, 2007.
In response to a request, it was noted that local
organization accomplishments are submitted in writing through the
commission process and will be forwarded in the City Council packet.
A request was made that any written comments to be submitted
at the April 24 meeting be done in writing and provided to the
Council. The AC
Committee directed staff to submit a suggested agenda format for
consideration at the next Agenda Committee meeting.
c.
Continued scheduling of upcoming Land
Use Matters (PDF*, 16 KB)
to the next Agenda Committee meeting.
Due
to the number of significant land use items that will require a
significant amount of time, it was suggested that the condo
conversion workshop be rescheduled from April 24 to May 15, 2007
(requires amendment to the Council meeting schedule to add May 15 as
a regular meeting); that a workshop on inclusionary housing be set
for July 10, 2007; and the need to schedule items coming through the
Zoning Adjustments Board.
Mayor
Bates indicated that in the future, when items come to Council to
make the determination whether or not to schedule a public hearing,
that he would allow a total of five minutes each to the applicant
and his/her representatives and the appellants and their
representatives.
