11, 2003: At its March
11, 2003 meeting, the Council adopted Resolution
No. 61,968-N.S.: 1) amending the Council Rules of
Procedure to clarify and improve the process by
which items are reviewed and referred by the Rules
Committee; 2) creating an alternate on the Rules
Committee; 3) appointing Council member Breland as
the Alternate on the Committee; 4) changing the name
of the Rules Committee to the “Agenda Committee”
to better reflect its duties; 5) creating a “time
critical” exception to the agenda process; and 6)
establishing that the new “Agenda Committee”
will be evaluated six months from the adoption of
these amendments.

10, 2002: At
its December
10, 2002 meeting, the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 61,866-N.S., readopting
the Council Rules of
Procedure; creating a Rules Committee.
