Action: The
Housing Authority may take action related to any subject listed

Authority will consider removal and addition of items to the
Consent Calendar prior to voting on the Consent Calendar.
All items remaining on the Consent Calendar will be
approved in one motion. Items
removed from the Consent Calendar will be taken up after the
“Action Calendar” unless the Authority reorders the agenda.

Management Assessment for Public Housing Agencies

Adopt a Resolution authorizing the Executive
Officer to electronically submit the required annual Public
Housing Management Assessment System report to HUD for the
fiscal year ending June 30, 2001.

Stipends
and Reimbursements for Resident Council Members

Recommendation: Adopt
a Resolution to authorize the payment of stipends and
reimbursements for members of the Public Housing and Section
8 Resident Councils in accordance with the provisional
contained in Administrative Regulation 3.1:
Stipend and Reimbursement in Lieu of Expenses for
Members of Certain Boards, Commissions, and Committees
with the exception that Resident Council members be exempted
from having to file an income declaration form to show
income eligibility.

Annual
Plan Update for Fiscal Year 2001-02

Recommendation:
Conduct a public hearing and at the conclusion
adopt a Resolution 1) adopting the Berkeley Housing
Authority’s Annual Plan update for Fiscal Year 2001-2002;
and 2) authorizing the Executive Officer to submit the Plan
to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
(HUD).
