adopt the Consent Calendar in one motion except as indicated:
the minutes for the Regular Authority meeting of December 18, 2001.

Approved minutes with the provision that the minutes reflect
that Authority Member Payne was absent from the meeting because her
Council packet was never delivered to her and she was not aware there
was a meeting.
Public Housing Project Drainage Sewer Improvements Project
From: Executive Officer (to
Adopt a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to approve
plans and specifications for the Sojourner Truth Court Public Housing
Storm Drainage Improvements Project; accepting the bid of Mosto
Constructions, Inc.; and authorizing the City Manager to execute a
contract and any amendments in an amount not to exceed $155,000 for a
term of 130 days.

Adopt a Resolution authorizing a Request for Proposals (RFP)
for building maintenance services for 75-units of rental housing units
owned by the Berkeley Housing Authority, and authorizing the Executive
Officer to execute an agreement and any amendments for a term not to
exceed twelve months, with an option to renew an additional twelve
months in an amount not to exceed $80,000 per year; and authorizing
the Executive Officer to amend the payment provision as necessary to
reflect any changes in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) mandated wage determination.

Adopt a Resolution: 1) Authorizing a Request for Proposals
(RFP) for property management of Berkeley Housing Authority’s
75-units of rental housing; and 2)
Endorse the concept of allocating annual CDBG funds totaling
$190,000 for the Section 108 loan repayment for public housing
rehabilitation ($120,000) and the administration of the Shelter Plus
Care Program ($70,000).
