Preliminary Matters
Roll Call
Comments from the Public: A total of 30 minutes is scheduled. Each speaker is limited to a maximum of 3 minutes.
Authority Action: The Housing Authority may take action related to any subject listed on the Agenda.
Consent Calendar
The Authority will consider removal and addition of items to the Consent Calendar prior to voting on the Consent Calendar. All items remaining on the Consent Calendar will be approved in one motion. Items removed from the Consent Calendar will be taken up after the “Action Calendar” unless the Authority reorders the agenda.

2. Exterior Painting and Landscaping Services (PDF, 199 KB)

Recommendation: Adopt a Resolution authorizing the Executive Officer to solicit bids through the Request for Proposals (RFP) process for exterior painting in an amount not to exceed $124,000; installations of windows in an amount not to exceed $255,000; and re-landscaping services in an amount not to exceed $66,380 for 55 units of rental housing owned by the Berkeley Housing Authority; and authorizing the Executive Officer to execute an agreement and any amendments through June 30, 2004.

3. Utility Allowance Schedule (PDF, 867 KB)

Recommendation: Adopt a Resolution establishing a revised utility allowance schedule for use in the administration of the Section 8 and Public Housing Programs effective March 1, 2003 and rescinding Resolution No.621.
