Action: Moved, seconded, carried (Maio/Worthington) to adopt the Consent Calendar in one motion except as indicated:
1. Minutes for Approval (PDF, 351 KB)

Recommendation: Approve the minutes for Authority meetings of April 20, 2004 (regular) and May 7, 2004 (special).

Action: Approved minutes.
2. Special Meeting for Work Session on Housing Authority Issues (PDF, 70 KB)
From: Executive Officer
Recommendation: Cancel the regular meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on June 15, 2004 and call a special meeting for 6:00 p.m. on June 15, 2004, and as amended, an additional special meeting on July 20 for work sessions on the status of the Berkeley Housing Authority budget.

Recommendation: Adopt a Resolution approving the Section Eight Management Assessment Program (SEMAP) Corrective Action Plan (CAP) which sets forth responsibilities that are intended to assist the BHA improve its SEMAP scores and eliminate the HUD-designated troubled status for the Section 8 Housing Choice (HCV) Program.
