Notice of 45-Day Review Period and Public Hearing
Federal FY 2004 Agency Annual Plan

The Board of Commissioners of the Berkeley Housing Authority (BHA) will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 2134 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Berkeley.
The hearing is being held to solicit public comment on the BHA’s Federal Fiscal Year 2004 Agency Annual Plan (PDF*, 15 MB) to be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Public housing authorities are required to adopt the updated Plan as mandated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Plan outlines the BHA goals and objectives for Fiscal Year 2004-05 for its Section 8 and Public Housing Programs. The draft Plan was published on June 4, 2004, which commenced a 45-day public comment period.
All interested persons are invited to attend this public hearing. Written comments also may be submitted to the BHA office prior to the hearing. Copies of the Plan are available for review at 1901 Fairview Street during its regular business hours, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday excepting business holidays and at the City Clerk Department located at 2180 Milvia Street, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The plan is also accessible on the City of Berkeley’s website: BHA’s Federal Fiscal Year 2004 Agency Annual Plan (PDF*, 15 MB)
