Action: Moved, seconded, carried (Armstrong/Spring; Absent -
Breland, Maio, Shirek) to adopt the minutes of December 16, 1997.
4. Lease Revenue Bonds
From: Executive Officer
Recommendation: Adopt a Resolution authorizing the issuance and sale
of not to exceed $9,350,000 of the Authority's Lease Revenue Bonds, the
execution and delivery of a trust indenture, acquisition agreement, lease
agreement, and assignment agreement, and authorizing all other actions and
necessary documents in connection with the acquisition of playing fields
and the Berkeley Repertory Theatre expansion project.

Maio) to adopt Resolution No. 6.
Moved, seconded, carried (Worthington/Spring; Absent - Breland, Maio)
to request the Executive Officer research and report back to the Authority
on possible funding mechanisms, such as certificates of participation or
lease revenue bonds in the amount of $1,000,000 for art organizations and
that this funding include a comparable match by the arts organizations.
