Public Hearing: 

  1. REVOCATION OF USE PERMIT 
    TUNE UP MASTERS – 1698 UNIVERSITY AVENUE

The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider a recommendation by City staff to revoke Use Permit 7263 for automotive services issued to Tune Up Masters at 1698 University Avenue as a result of Tune Up Master’s non-compliance with conditions of approval imposed by the City Council  (Resolution No. 58,425-N.S) during 1996 use permit revocation proceedings. 

Anyone wishing to speak at the public hearing may receive a speaker card from the City Clerk at the start of the Council meeting up until the closure of the public hearing.

 

Written comments should be mailed or delivered directly to the City Clerk, 2180 Milvia Street, Berkeley, CA 94704, in order to ensure delivery to all Councilmembers and inclusion in the agenda packet.  Comments received not later than  Monday, March 11, 2002 will be included in Council agenda packets. Comments received thereafter will be submitted to Council as supplemental communications prior to the meeting.  For further information, call Sherry M. Kelly, City Clerk, 981-6900. NOTICE CONCERNING YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS: If you object to a decision by the City Council to approve or deny a use permit or variance for a project the following requirements and restrictions apply: 1) No lawsuit challenging a City decision may be filed more than 90 days after the date the Notice of Decision of the action of the City Council is mailed. Any lawsuit not filed within that 90-day period will be barred.  In any such lawsuit the issues and evidence will be limited to those raised by you or someone else, orally or in writing, at a public hearing or prior to the close of the last public hearing on the project.
