Mr. David Levy, 1970 Broadway, Suite 1200, Oakland
CA 94612, on behalf of the property owner, Ahmet Kahya, has amended
an existing zoning permit application to include an additional Use
Permit to demolish a building containing dwelling units under BMC
Section 23C.08.020. The sponsor had previously requested a permit to
build two new dwellings under
BMC Section 23D.32.030, Uses Permitted and BMC Section
23D.32.070.D.1 Development Standards.
The City Council will consider these two permits together at their
October 14, 2003 meeting.
Environmental Review Status: This project has been
determined to be categorically exempt under the California
Environmental Quality Act Guidelines, Sections 15301
(2). "Existing Facilities;" and 15303(b). "New
Construction or Conversion of Small Structures."
