2. Five-Year Implementation Plan for West Berkeley Redevelopment Project

Recommendation: Conduct a public hearing and upon conclusion, adopt a Resolution adopting a five-year implementation plan for the West Berkeley Redevelopment Project for the Years 2000 through 2004.

Action: Moved, seconded, carried (Maio/Shirek; Absent - Olds) to adopt Resolution No. 1180 and to request the Executive Director report back on reallocation of funds at a future time to allocate more for funds housing and streetscape improvements.

3. FY 2000 Redevelopment Agency Budget

Recommendation: Adopt a Resolution adopting the annual budget for the Berkeley Redevelopment Agency for Fiscal Year 2000 and commits the Agency to conformance with the requirements of Resolution No. 60,048-N.S. (visual art in public places), in allocating 1.5% of the cost of constructing capital projects for visual art to be incorporated into projects.
