Action:  Moved, seconded, carried (Maio/Armstrong; Absent–Spring, Worthington) to adopt the Consent Calendar in one motion except as indicated:

  1. Minutes for Approval (PDF, 126 KB)

    From:  Executive Officer

    Recommendation:  Approve the minutes for Agency meeting of June 11, 2002.

    Action: Approve recommendation.

     

  2. Support for a 3-Inch Clearance Between the Platform and the Rail Flange at the Berkeley Amtrak Rail Stop (PDF, 520 KB)

    From:  Executive Director

    Recommendation:  Send a letter to Caltrans to support construction of immediate platform improvements with a 3-inch gap between the platform edge and the rail flange at the Amtrak rail stop located on University at 3rd Street.

    Recommendation:  Authorize the City Manager to write a letter to Warren Webber, Director of Caltrans Division of Rail, informing him of the motion regarding access improvements at the Amtrak Rail Stop in Berkeley.
