Consent Calendar

Action: M/S/C (Moore/Maio) to adopt Consent Calendar in one motion except as indicated:

1.     Establish 2008 Redevelopment Agency Meeting Schedule (PDF, 256 KB)

From: Executive Officer

Recommendation: Adopt a Resolution establishing the Redevelopment Agency meeting schedule for 2008.

Financial Implications: None

Action:  Removed from Consent Calendar for discussion.  M/S/C (Worthington/Maio) adopted Resolution No. 1,243 (PDF, 157 KB) (Absent – Anderson).

2.      Contract Amendment: Joint Trench Design for Undergrounding in Aquatic Park Connection (PDF, 320 KB)

Recommendation: Adopt a Resolution authorizing the Executive Officer to amend the Agency's contract with Bellecci and Associates (Contract No. 6834) to:

1)     Provide plans and coordination for a joint trench for undergrounding utilities on Addison from Bolivar to Second Street and below the railroad tracks as part of the design and construction documents for the Aquatic Park Connection Streetscape Improvements; and

2)     Increase the contract amount by $57,900 for a total not to exceed $202,900.

3.      Contract Amendment:  Quiet Zone Feasibility Study in West Berkeley Circulation Master Plan (PDF, 967 KB)

Recommendation: Adopt a Resolution authorizing the Executive Officer to amend the Agency's contract with WilburSmith Associates Transportation Consultants (WSA) (Contract No. 7351) to add $41,785 to prepare a Quiet Zone Feasibility Study for inclusion within the West Berkeley Circulation Master Plan for a new total of  $441,785

Financial Implications: Redevelopment Fund - $41,785
