Disaster and Fire Safety Commission Agendas and Minutes:  2008  |  2007  |  2006
Mission:	Participates in the review of emergency, disaster and mutual aid plans and agreements and makes recommendations to the City Council regarding legislation and regulations needed to implement such plans and agreements.  The Commission is also empowered to register disaster workers.  The Council took action to combine the Disaster Council and the Fire Safety Commission on April 19, 2005 and adopted Ordinance No. 6,902-N.S. on January 17, 2006.  Members who served on either the Disaster Council or Fire Safety Commission prior to their consolidation count toward the term limits set forth in BMC Section 2.02.040.
